

PrayerMinder32 v0.41
  New in v0.41:
     * Fixed error in Asr time in latitudes close to the equator.

INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this software is to help Muslims mind
their prayers. It displays the Islamic prayer times
for the present day, anywhere on the planet Earth.
You can set alarms and even send messages to your
peers on the network.

Please use the Options menu to access 
configurable parameters.

MAILING LIST
Please also join the mailing list so you will be
informed of new releases. The mailing list will hardly
be used because the author is also busy with his regular
work, and cannot devote al his time to improving this
product.

PACKAGE
This program is destributed as a package consisting
of a set of files including the following:

PrayMind32.zip:
 PrayMind.exe	- the program
 locations.txt	- contains coordinates etc. for many cities
 PrayMind.hlp	- help file
 PrayMind.cnt	- help file contents
 azan.wav		- wave file contianing azan sound for alarm
 ReadMe.txt		- This file

REQUIREMENTS
  - Win32
  - mfc42.dll	- required dll, comes with IE4.1. Older version of
				  this DLL might give you problems.

INSTALLATION
Simply un-zip the files into any directory and double click on
PrayMind.exe to run it. You can add it to your start menu by dragging
it from the Explorer onto the start button. Or, better yet, right
click on the Start button, click Open, and then drag from the explorer
onto the Programs folder in the newly opened window. Then close that
window.  Now PrayMind.exe will be available from Start menu's Programs
folder.

UN_INSTALL
Simply delete all the files.

  Bugs fixed in v0.40
    1. Fajr/Isha is no longer using 1/7th rule if twilight too long.
       * Fixed. Removed switch to 1/7th rule when angle and 1/7th rule
         result in more than 7mins time difference. Only use 1/7th rule 
         if twilight never disappears.
    2. Zuhr time displayed as 12:xx AM instead of 12:xx PM.
       * Fixed.

V0.32 (2 December 1998) Third (Alpha) release
  Bugs fixed in v0.32
    1. Monthly time table does not show the last day of the month.
      * Fixed.
    2. Time format field in preferences has no effect.
      * Fixed.
    3. Twilight angle control does not work.

    4. WINSOCK error "Too many users" if you exit and run again.

    5. The last day of the month is not shown.

    6. I got an error msg 'Prefs.Dat not found' when I run the program

    13. Suggestion: What about 1 or 2 more spaces between columns on the
        Month Timetable dialog. It'll make it more easily readable.

    14. Suggestion: What about a 'Copy' and 'Print' button on the Month
        Timetable dialog.
      * Print implemented.
    15. Quick Help (?) on the Preferences dialog doesn't do anything.
      * Fixed.
    16. Quick Help (?) on the main Prayer Minder dialog doesn't seem to be very
        useful, as there's nothing on this dialog that a user would need help for.
      * Removed.
    17. Prefs dialog insists on Default Twilight angle even if you only want
        to change time format to 24 Hour.
      * Fixed.
    18. Prefs dialog: Default Twilight angle button needs some explanatory
        text for people like me who don't know about this angle.
      * Fixed. Added help.
    19. The Readme.txt file says it's for "Palm Pilot", while this version is
        for PC.
      * Fixed.
    20. Why should you have the button "Edit" for the main functions?
      * Fixed. Changed the menu name to "Options".
