PrayerMinder for PocketPC

PrayerMinder for the PocketPC displays the Islamic prayer times for the present day, anywhere on the planet Earth. It also shows the direction of Qiblah relative to the sun and Geographic North pole.

Features

Qiblah direction finder shows Qiblah direction by pointing the PocketPC toward the sun.
Multiple locations to select from.
Manual toggling of adjustment for Daylight Savings.

Install Instructions

To install, click on the appropriate link above and save the file.
Then un-zip the file you saved using an un-zip program such as WinZip.
Two files will be un-zipped : locations.txt and a CAB file.
Copy the CAB file to your PocketPC PDA. Refer to your PDA documentation for doing that.
On your PDA, Tap (twice) on the CAB file you copied there to install the software. The CAB file will be automatically removed after the software is installed.

- Fixed minor bug in Preferences dialog Isha calculation method. The "Minutes" combo box was becoming disabled when its radio button was selected.
- Fixed lists of Minutes in Preferences dialog so they are unsorted.

NOTE: Get location data for your city just by pressing the View Location Data button from your city's prayer times page at this site.

Getty Thesaurus is perhaps the best place to find coordinates for any city.

Bali Distance Finder has a good database of locations in the USA, and many others, and also provides Elevation data for many places.
